Using the Contact Directory

The Contact Directory can be hidden or made visible using a toggle located next to the Main Search box. Users can adjust this toggle based on their preference to easily access contact information.

Contact Directory Sections

The Contact Directory is divided into two main sections:

My Contacts Section

• Located at the bottom of the search field.

• Users can create personal contacts by clicking "Add New Contact".

Contacts Section

• Located at the bottom of the "My Contacts" Directory.

• Contains all contacts available in the directory.

• Users can search for contacts or browse by categories, groups, or Hunt Groups (Queues).

Contact Options

Once a contact is identified, clicking on the contact provides the following options:

1. Start Messaging – Initiates an instant messaging session with the contact in CEP.

2. Start Voice Call – Begins a voice conversation with the contact.

3. Send Secure Mail – Allows sending secure email communication.

4. View/Edit Properties – Provides access to contact details for review or modification.

5. Specific Status – Updates or views the contact’s current status.

6. Toggle Multi-Select – Enables users to select multiple contacts to:

   • Start voice or chat conversations.

   • Update the Specific Status.

   • Delete contacts (if in My Contacts).

7. Add to My Favorites – Saves the contact to Favorites for quick access.
